LG Velvet is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), having a overall score of 87.1 against 79.2. The LG Velvet body is extremely newer and just a bit thinner, but just a bit heavier than the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018). LG Velvet features a bit better processor than Galaxy A8 (2018), and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG Velvet also has more RAM memory.
Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) has just a bit better looking screen than LG Velvet, because although it has a little smaller display and a bit lower 1080 x 2220 resolution, it also counts with a little higher screen pixels density. The LG Velvet features a way better camera than Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for low light captures and videos, it also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a way better resolution back-facing camera.
The LG Velvet has much more storage for applications and games than Galaxy A8 (2018), because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB. LG Velvet has a very superior battery life than Galaxy A8 (2018), because it has a 43% bigger battery size.
