The LG Velvet has an overall score of 87.1, which is better than the Galaxy Alpha's 76.3 general score. Although it's the best cellphone we are comparing, the LG Velvet is a somewhat thicker and much heavier cellphone than Galaxy Alpha. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha counts with a little sharper display than LG Velvet, although it has a way smaller screen, a way worse 1280 x 720 resolution and a little worse pixels amount per screen inch.
The Galaxy Alpha's CPU is just as good as the LG Velvet one, because although the Galaxy Alpha has a smaller amount of RAM and less cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a GPU. The LG Velvet has a much better memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 96 GB more internal memory capacity and a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The LG Velvet captures greater videos and photos than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (4K) video definition, the LG Velvet also has a larger aperture and a much more mega-pixels camera in the back. LG Velvet counts with a much longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity against 1860mAh.
Despite of being the best phone in this comparison, the LG Velvet is also a bargain compared to the other phones.
