The LG Velvet is better than the Galaxy J8, getting a score of 87.1 against 76.7. Even though the LG Velvet is just a little bit heavier than the Galaxy J8, it's just a bit thinner and newer. LG Velvet counts with a sharper screen than Galaxy J8, because it has a quite larger display, a higher display density and a way better 1080 x 2460 pixels resolution.
LG Velvet features a very superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy J8, because it has 128 GB internal memory and an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG Velvet features a bit better processor than Galaxy J8, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the LG Velvet also has a higher amount of RAM.
