The LG Velvet has an overall score of 87.1, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge's general score of 85.7. The LG Velvet is a newer cellphone than the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, but it's a bit thicker and notably heavier. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a way better screen than LG Velvet, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a greater amount of pixels per display inch and a quite better 2560 x 1440 resolution.

The LG Velvet counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory, the LG Velvet also has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. Galaxy S6 Edge counts with just a bit better performance than LG Velvet, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a graphics co-processor and a 64-bits CPU.

The LG Velvet features a way better camera than Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the LG Velvet also has a camera in the back with a way better 48 MP resolution, a much larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a bigger aperture to capture better photos in low-light situations.

LG Velvet has a much better battery performance than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity.
