Comparison review

LG Velvet is a little bit better than Galaxy S7, with a score of 87.1 against 79.5. The LG Velvet construction has the same thickness than Galaxy S7, but it is heavier. LG Velvet counts with a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy S7, because it has a higher amount of RAM and a higher number of cores.

Samsung Galaxy S7 features a much better screen than LG Velvet, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a better count of pixels per inch in the screen and a slightly better resolution of 1440 x 2560. The LG Velvet has much more memory to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S7, because it has a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal memory.

The LG Velvet has a superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S7, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity. The LG Velvet captures much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for shooting pictures or videos in low light environments, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the LG Velvet also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking higher quality photos and videos and a camera with much more mega-pixels.

Although LG Velvet is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy S7. So if you want that extra features, you can buy LG Velvet, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy S7, resigning a couple features and specifications.
