LG Velvet has a global score of 87.1, which is better than the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active's 75.8 overall score. The LG Velvet is a a lot newer cellphone, and it is also just a little lighter and much thinner than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active. The LG Velvet has a bit better performance than Galaxy S7 Active, because it has a larger number of faster cores and more RAM.
The Galaxy S7 Active has a more vivid display than LG Velvet, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a greater number of pixels per screen inch and a slightly better 1440 x 2560px resolution. The LG Velvet has a much bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, because it has a SD card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB and 96 GB more internal memory.
The LG Velvet has a little better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity. LG Velvet captures much clearer photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low light photography, and they both have the same video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the LG Velvet also counts with a back facing camera with a way higher 48 mega-pixels resolution.
The LG Velvet is a little more expensive than Galaxy S7 Active, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
