LG Velvet has a score of 87.1, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active's 81.9 general score. LG Velvet's construction is a lot newer, notably thinner and lighter than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active. Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has a little sharper screen than LG Velvet, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher number of pixels per display inch and a higher 1440 x 2960 resolution.
LG Velvet features just a bit better performance than Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG Velvet also has 2 GB more RAM memory. The LG Velvet takes better pictures and videos than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the LG Velvet also counts with a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels and a lot larger sensor providing a way better image quality.
LG Velvet features a much better storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because it has 128 GB internal storage and a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG Velvet counts with just a little better battery life than Galaxy S8 Active, because it has an 8 percent greater battery size.
The LG Velvet is a little more expensive than the Galaxy S8 Active, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
