Comparison review

LG Velvet has a general score of 87.1, which is a bit better than Galaxy S9's 83.3 score. The LG Velvet construction is newer and just a little bit thinner than the Galaxy S9's, although it's just a little bit heavier. Samsung Galaxy S9 counts with a little bit better display than LG Velvet, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px and more pixels per inch of display.

LG Velvet features a way bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy S9, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB and more internal storage capacity. The Samsung Galaxy S9 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than LG Velvet, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.

The LG Velvet has a really longer battery performance than Galaxy S9, because it has a 43 percent more battery size. The LG Velvet shoots better photographs and videos than Galaxy S9, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for capturing pictures or videos in low-light environments and worse video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the LG Velvet also counts with a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor.

Although LG Velvet is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy S9. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy LG Velvet, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy S9, resigning a couple specifications.
