Comparison review
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a global score of 94.6, which is slightly better than the LG Velvet's score of 87.1. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 body is thinner but notably heavier than the LG Velvet, and they were released only a few months apart. Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a bit superior processor than LG Velvet, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a greater amount of RAM.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 and LG Velvet count with incredibly similar displays, because although the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a bit worse pixel density, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1768 x 2208 and a little larger screen. The LG Velvet has just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a smaller sensor which provides a lower photo and video quality and slower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same video definition and a F1.8 aperture, the LG Velvet also counts with a back camera with a much better 48 megapixels resolution.
The LG Velvet has a very superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with just a little bit longer battery duration than LG Velvet, because it has a 5 percent bigger battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG Velvet, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG Velvet. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, but if you don't you can save some money and get the LG Velvet, resigning a couple features and specs.
