Comparison review
The LG Velvet is better than Xperia XZ2 Compact, with a overall score of 87.1 against 79. Although the LG Velvet is a bit heavier than the Xperia XZ2 Compact, it's extremely thinner and also a lot newer. Xperia XZ2 Compact has a better looking display than LG Velvet, because although it has a much smaller display and a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the display.
LG Velvet features much more storage for games and applications than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has more internal memory and a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact features a little faster CPU than LG Velvet, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The LG Velvet captures slightly better videos and photos than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because although it has worse video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the LG Velvet also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor, a way more megapixels back-facing camera and a larger camera aperture to capture better low light photography.
