Comparison review
LG Velvet is a little bit better than Xiaomi 12 Pro, having a score of 87.1 against 79.6. The LG Velvet construction is a little thinner and somewhat lighter than Xiaomi 12 Pro, although it was released just 20 months before. LG Velvet has a much powerful processing unit than Xiaomi 12 Pro, although it has 2 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 cores.
Xiaomi 12 Pro features a brighter screen than LG Velvet, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixels density and a better 1440 x 3200 pixels resolution. The Xiaomi 12 Pro takes much clearer videos and photos than LG Velvet, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for taking photographs and videos in low-light situations, it also counts with a much bigger sensor which provides a lot higher photo and video quality, a much better 7680x4320 video resolution and a more mega-pixels back-facing camera.
LG Velvet features a very superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi 12 Pro, and although they both have the same internal memory, the LG Velvet also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB. The Xiaomi 12 Pro counts with a bit longer battery life than LG Velvet, because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity instead of 4300mAh.
