Comparison review
The LG Velvet is a bit better than the Xiaomi Black Shark 2, with an 87.1 score against 82.3. LG Velvet is a newer phone, and it's also somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than Xiaomi Black Shark 2. The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has a bit more vivid screen than LG Velvet, because although it has a bit smaller display and a bit lower 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch of display.
Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has a bit better hardware performance than LG Velvet, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 also has 2 GB more RAM. The LG Velvet counts with a very superior storage to install games and applications than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the LG Velvet also has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB.
Xiaomi Black Shark 2 captures just a bit better photographs and videos than LG Velvet. Both of them have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the same resolution camera in the back, a same size aperture, a same size back-facing camera sensor and the same video frame rates. The LG Velvet features a bit longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
