Comparison review
The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a score of 88.3, which is a bit better than the LG Velvet's 87.1 overall score. Xiaomi Black Shark 4's body is newer, but somewhat heavier and notably thicker than LG Velvet. Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a bit faster processor than LG Velvet, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 also has more RAM.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 counts with a much better display than LG Velvet, although it has a little bit worse screen pixels density, a bit smaller screen and a quite lower 1080 x 2400px resolution. LG Velvet has a very superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the LG Velvet also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Xiaomi Black Shark 4 counts with a bit longer battery life than LG Velvet, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 4300mAh. The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 counts with a bit better camera than LG Velvet, and although they both have a same size sensor, the same aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a 48 mega-pixels resolution camera, the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 also has faster 60 frames per second video frame rate.
Although Xiaomi Black Shark 4 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG Velvet, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG Velvet. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xiaomi Black Shark 4, else you can save some dollars and buy the LG Velvet, resigning some features and specifications.
