Comparison review
LG Velvet is better than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, getting an 87.1 score against 78.1. LG Velvet's design has the same thickness than the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, but it's just a little heavier. The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has a bit more vivid display than LG Velvet, although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 1920, a quite lower pixels density and a bit smaller display.
The LG Velvet features a way bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the LG Velvet also has an external memory slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. The LG Velvet features a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have a 6 GB RAM memory, the LG Velvet also has a greater number of cores (and they are faster).
LG Velvet takes better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the LG Velvet also has a lot better resolution back facing camera, a bigger diafragm aperture for better low light images and video and a lot bigger camera sensor providing a lot better image quality.
The LG Velvet counts with a bit superior battery life than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity instead of 3800mAh.
