The LG Velvet has an overall score of 87.1, which is much better than the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's score of 77.7. The LG Velvet is a a bit thicker and just a little bit heavier phone than the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features a screen that's just as good as the display in LG Velvet, because although the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a bit worse 1080 x 2280 resolution and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little higher amount of pixels in each inch of display.
LG Velvet counts with a way bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have the same internal memory, the LG Velvet also has a SD memory slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. LG Velvet has a bit better CPU than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite. Both have 6 GB of RAM and 8 CPU cores.
LG Velvet counts with longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity against 3350mAh. The LG Velvet features a better camera than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the LG Velvet also has a larger aperture to capture better captures and video in low-light environments, a back facing camera with a much better 48 mega pixels resolution and a much larger camera sensor taking much higher quality videos and photos.
