Comparison review
The LG Velvet is better than the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, getting a global score of 87.1 against 75.9. LG Velvet's construction is newer than the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE's, but it's just a little thicker and a little heavier. The Xiaomi Mi 8 SE features a little more vivid display than LG Velvet, because although it has a little bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2244 and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a little higher display pixel density.
The LG Velvet features a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, because it has more internal storage capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. LG Velvet has a little bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE. They have a 6 GB RAM and the same number of cores.
The LG Velvet counts with a better camera than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the LG Velvet also has a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low light photos and video, a much larger back-facing camera sensor and a way better resolution camera.
