LG Velvet has a general score of 87.1, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Mix 3's 83.8 overall score. LG Velvet's construction is newer, lighter and just a little thinner than the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3. Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 counts with a little bit better display than LG Velvet, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2340, it also counts with a little bit higher pixels amount in each screen inch.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 counts with a bit better processing unit than LG Velvet, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 also has 2 GB more RAM. LG Velvet has a much bigger storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that admits up to 1,95 TB.
The LG Velvet features improved battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, because it has a 34 percent bigger battery size. The LG Velvet takes better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, because although it has slower video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and a same size camera aperture, the LG Velvet also counts with a back camera with a way better resolution and a much larger sensor which gives a lot better image and video quality.
