Comparison review
LG Velvet is better than the Xiaomi Poco M3, getting a global score of 87.1 against 78.2. LG Velvet's construction is just a bit lighter and thinner than Xiaomi Poco M3, although they were released with only 7 months difference. The LG Velvet has a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Poco M3, because although it has a just a little lower pixels quantity in each screen inch, it also counts with a little bit bigger display and a quite better 1080 x 2460 resolution.
The LG Velvet counts with a superior memory to install applications and games than Xiaomi Poco M3, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 1,95 TB and more internal memory. LG Velvet has a little faster processing unit than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the LG Velvet also has more RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Poco M3 features a superior battery performance than LG Velvet, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4300mAh. The LG Velvet features just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have a same resolution back-facing camera, a same size aperture and a same size sensor, the LG Velvet also has a much higher (4K) video quality.
LG Velvet costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Poco M3, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
