Comparison review
LG Velvet is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, with a global score of 87.1 against 81.1. LG Velvet is a lighter and thinner device than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, even though both were released with only 0 months difference. LG Velvet features a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because it has a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels, a little bigger screen and a little bit greater count of pixels per inch in the display.
LG Velvet has much more storage capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because it has 64 GB more internal memory and a SD card slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro and LG Velvet count with quite similar CPUs, both have 6 GB of RAM and the same number of cores.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro captures clearer photos and videos than LG Velvet, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for taking images or video in low-light environments, and they both have the same video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a much more mega pixels back camera.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with better battery life than LG Velvet, because it has a 17 percent more battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone in our current comparison, LG Velvet is also cheaper than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, making it a very good choice.
