Comparison review
The LG Velvet has a global score of 87.1, which is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's 79 overall score. Although LG Velvet and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S were only released with a couple months difference, LG Velvet is thinner and lighter. The LG Velvet has a bit more powerful processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the LG Velvet also has a higher amount of RAM.
LG Velvet counts with just a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because it has a slightly better 1080 x 2460 resolution, a little larger display and a little bit higher pixels number per inch in the display. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a slightly better camera than LG Velvet. They have a 48 MP camera, the same video quality, the same back-facing camera sensor size, the same camera aperture and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate.
The LG Velvet has much more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB and more internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with improved battery performance than LG Velvet, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity.
The LG Velvet costs a little more than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
