The Sony Ericsson Xperia ray is just a bit better than the Micromax Canvas HD Plus, getting a 53.7 score against 49.1. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but Sony Ericsson Xperia ray has an older 4.0 version while Micromax Canvas HD Plus has Android 4.4.2. The Sony Ericsson Xperia ray has a bit better looking screen than Micromax Canvas HD Plus, because although it has a way worse resolution of 854 x 480 and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a little greater pixel quantity per screen inch.

Micromax Canvas HD Plus counts with a better processing unit than Sony Ericsson Xperia ray, and although they both have a Single-Core processor, the Micromax Canvas HD Plus also has a larger amount of RAM memory and an extra graphics processing unit. The Sony Ericsson Xperia ray features a much greater memory to install applications and games than Micromax Canvas HD Plus. They have a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 32 GB.

The Micromax Canvas HD Plus counts with longer battery performance than Sony Ericsson Xperia ray, because it has a 2000mAh battery capacity instead of 1500mAh.
