Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Beam is a bit better than the Motorola DROID 2, getting a score of 58.7 against 53.5. Both phones in this comparison come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Beam has a newer 2.3.6 version and Motorola DROID 2 has Android 2.3. Samsung Galaxy Beam's design is newer, lighter and just a bit thinner than the Motorola DROID 2.

Galaxy Beam counts with a little bit better processing power than Motorola DROID 2, because it has a higher amount of RAM, a much better graphics processing unit running at 500 MHz and a higher number of 1000 megahertz cores. The Motorola DROID 2 counts with a bit sharper display than Galaxy Beam, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher 854 x 480 resolution and a bit better screen density.

The Galaxy Beam counts with as much storage capacity for games and applications as the Motorola DROID 2, both of them have a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 32 GB and equal internal memory. The Galaxy Beam has a superior camera than Motorola DROID 2, and although they both have a 5 MP camera, the Galaxy Beam also has a much better 1280x720 video resolution.

Galaxy Beam counts with a very superior battery life than Motorola DROID 2, because it has 2000mAh of battery capacity instead of 1400mAh.

Even being the best phone of the ones we are comparing, Galaxy Beam is also by far the cheapest.
