Comparison review
The LG K40 is a bit better than the Motorola DROID MAXX 2, having a 69.8 score against 67.7. Both of these phones use Android OS, but LG K40 has newer 8.1 Oreo version while Motorola DROID MAXX 2 has Android 5.1. The LG K40 is a much newer phone, and it's also lighter and noticeably thinner than Motorola DROID MAXX 2.
The LG K40 features a superior processor than Motorola DROID MAXX 2, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM, the LG K40 also has more CPU cores. Motorola DROID MAXX 2 features an incredibly better looking screen than LG K40, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a better number of pixels per inch of display.
The LG K40 has a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Motorola DROID MAXX 2, and although they both have the same 16 GB internal memory capacity, the LG K40 also has a SD memory slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. Motorola DROID MAXX 2 counts with improved battery lifetime than LG K40, because it has a 21 percent larger battery size.
Motorola DROID MAXX 2 has just a bit better camera than LG K40, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the same video definition and a same size camera aperture, the Motorola DROID MAXX 2 also has a back-facing camera with lot more mega pixels.
LG K40 costs the same than the Motorola DROID MAXX 2, making it an easy decision.
