Motorola DROID MAXX 2 is a little bit better than the LG Phoenix 5, with a score of 67.7 against 67.4. Although it's the best in our current comparison, the Motorola DROID MAXX 2 is an extremely older, way thicker and somewhat heavier cellphone than LG Phoenix 5. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but Motorola DROID MAXX 2 has older 5.1 version while LG Phoenix 5 has Android 10.
The LG Phoenix 5 counts with a better hardware performance than Motorola DROID MAXX 2, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM, the LG Phoenix 5 also has 7 more cores. Motorola DROID MAXX 2 counts with a much better screen than LG Phoenix 5, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better pixel count per inch in the display and a better resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The Motorola DROID MAXX 2 has a little bit better camera than LG Phoenix 5, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for low light captures and video, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Motorola DROID MAXX 2 also counts with a camera with a lot better resolution.
The Motorola DROID MAXX 2 features a much better storage to store more apps and games than LG Phoenix 5, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Motorola DROID MAXX 2 also has a SD extension slot that allows up to 128 GB. The Motorola DROID MAXX 2 has greater battery lifetime than LG Phoenix 5, because it has 3630mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
Although Motorola DROID MAXX 2 is a better device, it costs more money than the LG Phoenix 5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG Phoenix 5. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Motorola DROID MAXX 2, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG Phoenix 5, letting go some specifications.
