Samsung Galaxy S III is a little bit better than the Motorola DROID MAXX 2, having a overall score of 70.8 against 67.7. The Samsung Galaxy S III is an older cellphone than Motorola DROID MAXX 2, but Samsung could make it noticeably thinner and way lighter. Both phones in this review use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy S III has older 4.1.2 version while Motorola DROID MAXX 2 has Android 5.1 version.

Motorola DROID MAXX 2 counts with a bit better looking display than Galaxy S III, because it has a lot better 1920 x 1080px resolution, more pixels per screen inch and a little bigger screen. Motorola DROID MAXX 2 has a little bit more memory for apps and games than Galaxy S III, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Motorola DROID MAXX 2 also has a SD extension slot that allows up to 128 GB.
