Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is a little bit better than the Motorola Droid Turbo, getting a 79.3 score against 76.4. Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is a newer cellphone, and it is also somewhat lighter and much thinner than the Motorola Droid Turbo. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has a more recent 5.1 version and Motorola Droid Turbo has Android 4.4.4 version, so it gives you some additional features and improved performance.

The Motorola Droid Turbo counts with just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have the same resolution of 2560 x 1440, the Motorola Droid Turbo also counts with a bit higher number of pixels per display inch. The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ features a much bigger memory for games and applications than Motorola Droid Turbo, because it has 64 GB internal storage.

The Motorola Droid Turbo features a quite superior processing power than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has 1 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit and a greater number of cores (and faster). The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ shoots a bit better photographs and videos than Motorola Droid Turbo, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 video quality and a way less mega-pixels back facing camera, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low light images.

The Motorola Droid Turbo counts with longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 3900mAh of battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Motorola Droid Turbo, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Motorola Droid Turbo. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy Motorola Droid Turbo, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your budget.
