The Sony Xperia 5 is a bit better than the Motorola Droid Turbo, with a score of 81 against 76.4. Sony Xperia 5's body is way newer, thinner and a bit lighter than the Motorola Droid Turbo. Motorola Droid Turbo counts with a brighter display than Xperia 5, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and a higher count of pixels per inch in the screen.

Sony Xperia 5 features a little bit better hardware performance than Motorola Droid Turbo, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater number of cores and 3 GB more RAM memory. The Motorola Droid Turbo has a slightly better camera than Xperia 5, because although it has lower 24 fps video frame rates and a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for low light photography and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Motorola Droid Turbo also counts with a much better resolution back facing camera.

So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Xperia 5, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Motorola Droid Turbo, letting go a couple specifications.
