The Samsung Galaxy Note9 has an overall score of 87.1, which is much better than the Motorola DROID Turbo's 77.9 global score. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 body is notably newer and noticeably thinner, but somewhat heavier than the Motorola DROID Turbo. The Motorola DROID Turbo counts with a better screen than Galaxy Note9, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 2560 x 1440, it also counts with a just a bit greater screen density.
Galaxy Note9 has a little better processing power than Motorola DROID Turbo, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater number of cores and 3 GB more RAM memory. Galaxy Note9 features a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than Motorola DROID Turbo, because it has more internal memory and a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Note9 takes clearer photos and videos than Motorola DROID Turbo, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 video resolution and a lot less mega pixels resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a way larger aperture. Galaxy Note9 counts with just a bit longer battery lifetime than Motorola DROID Turbo, because it has a 3% more battery size.
Although Galaxy Note9 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Motorola DROID Turbo, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Motorola DROID Turbo. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Motorola DROID Turbo, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most with your budget.
