The Xperia XZ1 is slightly better than the Motorola DROID Turbo, with a general score of 78.3 against 77.9. Xperia XZ1 is a noticeably newer device, and it's also lighter and extremely thinner than the Motorola DROID Turbo. Motorola DROID Turbo counts with a bit better performance than Sony Xperia XZ1, because although it has less RAM memory and a lower number of cores (but faster), it also counts with a GPU.

Motorola DROID Turbo has a more vivid display than Xperia XZ1, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Motorola DROID Turbo also has more pixels per inch in the screen and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440px. Sony Xperia XZ1 counts with a way bigger storage to store more apps and games than Motorola DROID Turbo, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Sony Xperia XZ1 also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.

Motorola DROID Turbo features a much longer battery duration than Sony Xperia XZ1, because it has a 44 percent bigger battery capacity. The Xperia XZ1 has a little bit better camera than Motorola DROID Turbo, although it has a less MP back-facing camera and a worse video quality, they both have a same size camera aperture.

Although Xperia XZ1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Motorola DROID Turbo, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Motorola DROID Turbo. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Xperia XZ1, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Motorola DROID Turbo, giving up a couple features and specs.
