Comparison review

Xperia XZ3 has a score of 79.6, which is slightly better than Motorola DROID Turbo's overall score of 77.9. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but Xperia XZ3 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Motorola DROID Turbo has Android 4.4.4 version, offering a couple additional features. Even though Xperia XZ3 is just a bit heavier than the Motorola DROID Turbo, it's somewhat thinner and also much newer.

Motorola DROID Turbo counts with a bit sharper display than Sony Xperia XZ3, because although it has a bit worse 2560 x 1440 resolution and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little bit better pixels quantity per screen inch. The Xperia XZ3 features a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola DROID Turbo, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Xperia XZ3 also has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.

The Sony Xperia XZ3 and Motorola DROID Turbo both feature incredibly similar processors, because although the Sony Xperia XZ3 has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with more CPU cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. Motorola DROID Turbo counts with longer battery performance than Sony Xperia XZ3, because it has 3900mAh of battery capacity against 3330mAh.

Xperia XZ3 has a bit better camera than Motorola DROID Turbo, although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a back facing camera with a lower 19 megapixels resolution, they both have a F2 diafragm aperture.

Although Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Motorola DROID Turbo, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Motorola DROID Turbo. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Xperia XZ3, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Motorola DROID Turbo, letting go some features and specs.
