Comparison review
The Motorola Edge 20 Lite is just a bit better than Galaxy A42, getting an 87.1 score against 87. These devices come with the same Android 11 OS, so they should count with the same OS features. Motorola Edge 20 Lite is a newer phone, and it's also just a little bit lighter and a little bit thinner than Galaxy A42.
Galaxy A42 features a processor that's just as good as the CPU in Motorola Edge 20 Lite, and although the Galaxy A42 has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores. The Motorola Edge 20 Lite counts with a sharper screen than Galaxy A42, because it has a little bit bigger screen, a greater pixel density and a lot higher 1080 x 2400 resolution.
The Motorola Edge 20 Lite has a better camera than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Edge 20 Lite also counts with higher 120 frames per second video frame rate and a much more mega pixels back camera.
Galaxy A42 features just a bit more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Motorola Edge 20 Lite, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the Galaxy A42 also has an external SD slot that supports up to 1000 GB.
