The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has a score of 87.1, which is slightly better than the Motorola Moto G 5G's 81.5 overall score. The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is a a lot newer phone, and it's also just a little bit lighter and somewhat thinner than Motorola Moto G 5G. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has the newer 14 version and Motorola Moto G 5G has Android 10, giving you a couple nice extra features and performance enhancements.

Motorola Moto G 5G counts with a lot better processing power than Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, although it has less RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores. Motorola Edge 50 Ultra counts with a much sharper display than Motorola Moto G 5G. They have exactly the same 1080 x 2400 resolution, a same size display and the same number of pixels per inch in the screen.

Motorola Edge 50 Ultra shoots much clearer videos and photos than Moto G 5G, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra also has a higher 50 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back, a bigger aperture to capture better low-light captures and better 60 fps video frame rates.

Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has a much better storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Moto G 5G, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity. The Moto G 5G has a little longer battery performance than Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4500mAh.
