The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is better than the Moto G9 Play, with an 87.1 score against 76.7. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has newer 14 version and Moto G9 Play has Android 10, so it offers some nice extra features and optimized performance. Motorola Edge 50 Ultra's construction is much newer, just a little thinner and a little bit lighter than the Moto G9 Play.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has an incredibly better screen than Motorola Moto G9 Play, because it has a quite larger display, a greater pixels density and a way higher resolution of 1080 x 2400. The Motorola Moto G9 Play has an extremely better processing unit than Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.

Motorola Edge 50 Ultra takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Moto G9 Play, because it has a much bigger back camera sensor capturing much better quality videos and pictures, a higher 50 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera, a bigger aperture to capture better low light captures and a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra counts with a superior storage capacity to install applications and games than Moto G9 Play, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity. The Motorola Moto G9 Play counts with a little better battery performance than Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity against 4500mAh.
