The Galaxy Fold has an overall score of 97.6, which is better than the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra's general score of 87.1. Galaxy Fold is a way older and way heavier device than Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, but Samsung was able to make it noticeably thinner anyway. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Fold has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has Android 14, so it counts with a lot of extra features and increased performance.

Motorola Edge 50 Ultra features a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because although it has a quite smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2400, it also counts with a just a little higher pixel density. The Galaxy Fold counts with as much memory capacity for apps and games as the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra one, both of them have equal internal storage capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold features a much greater performance than Motorola Edge 50 Ultra. Both have 12 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core CPU. Motorola Edge 50 Ultra takes greater photographs and videos than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for shooting pictures and video in low light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same 60 fps video frame rates, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra also counts with a much bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a back camera with a much better 50 mega pixels resolution.

Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has a little longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because it has a 4500mAh battery size instead of 4380mAh.
