Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 III has an overall score of 93.3, which is a little bit better than the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra's 87.1 score. The Sony Xperia 1 III body is just a little lighter and just a little thinner than the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, despite of the fact that it was released many years before. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but the Sony Xperia 1 III has the older 11 version and Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has Android 14.
Motorola Edge 50 Ultra features a little more vivid display than Xperia 1 III, because although it has a way lower 1080 x 2400 resolution and a lot lower pixels density, it also counts with a bit bigger screen. Xperia 1 III counts with a really superior performance than Motorola Edge 50 Ultra. They have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core CPU.
Motorola Edge 50 Ultra takes better pictures and videos than Xperia 1 III, because although it has lower video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra also counts with a camera in the back with a lot better resolution, a bigger camera aperture to take better low-light photography and video and a way bigger sensor capturing much higher quality videos and pictures.
Xperia 1 III features a little bit more storage for games and applications than Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that allows up to 1 TB. The Xperia 1 III's battery duration is just as good as Motorola Edge 50 Ultra's battery performance.
