The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is just a bit better than Xperia 1 V, with an 87.1 score against 82.7. Both phones in this review have Android operating system, but Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has a newer 14 version and Xperia 1 V has Android 13 version, counting with a couple additional features and performance improvements. Motorola Edge 50 Ultra's body is newer than Xperia 1 V's, although it's a bit thicker and just a little heavier.
Motorola Edge 50 Ultra and Xperia 1 V both have very similar CPUs, they have the same RAM amount and 8 CPU cores. Motorola Edge 50 Ultra features a brighter screen than Sony Xperia 1 V, because although it has a lot lower resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a way worse count of pixels per display inch, it also counts with a little larger display.
Motorola Edge 50 Ultra counts with a superior memory to install applications and games than Xperia 1 V, because it has 512 GB internal storage. The Xperia 1 V counts with a bit better camera than Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, although it has a lower video resolution, a smaller aperture which is worse for low-light captures, a camera with a lower resolution and a tinier back-facing camera sensor.
