Moto G 5G is slightly better than LG V40 ThinQ, getting a overall score of 81.5 against 81.2. The Moto G 5G body is newer than the LG V40 ThinQ's, although it's a lot thicker and way heavier. Both of these devices come with the same Android 10 OS (Operating System). The LG V40 ThinQ features a bit better screen than Motorola Moto G 5G, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixels density and a higher 1440 x 3120 resolution.
LG V40 ThinQ features a bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Moto G 5G, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. The LG V40 ThinQ has a bit faster processing unit than Moto G 5G, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the LG V40 ThinQ also has more RAM.
Motorola Moto G 5G features a superior battery lifetime than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has a 52% larger battery size. The Motorola Moto G 5G shoots clearer videos and photos than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rate and a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for low light photography and video, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Motorola Moto G 5G also counts with a much higher resolution back facing camera.
