Samsung Galaxy M40 is a bit better than the Moto G 5G, having a general score of 85 against 81.5. Samsung Galaxy M40's construction is lighter and notably thinner than the Moto G 5G, despite of the fact that it was released a bit more over a year before. These devices include the same Android 10 OS (Operating System), so both should provide the same OS features.

The Motorola Moto G 5G has a much longer battery lifetime than Galaxy M40, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
