Comparison review

Xperia 1 II is much better than the Moto G 5G, with a score of 91 against 81.5. Even though the Xperia 1 II and Moto G 5G were only released 7 months apart, the Xperia 1 II is somewhat lighter and noticeably thinner. Both devices in this review have Android OS (operating system), but Xperia 1 II has a more recent 11 version while Moto G 5G has Android 10 version, offering some additional features and performance improvements.

The Sony Xperia 1 II has a bit superior CPU than Moto G 5G, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Sony Xperia 1 II also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Xperia 1 II counts with a more vivid display than Moto G 5G, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot better number of pixels per inch of display and a way higher 1644 x 3840 resolution.

The Motorola Moto G 5G counts with just a bit better camera than Sony Xperia 1 II, because although it has lower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have a same size aperture and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Motorola Moto G 5G also counts with a way more megapixels back facing camera.

The Xperia 1 II has a much greater storage capacity for applications and games than Motorola Moto G 5G, and although they both have an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB, the Xperia 1 II also has more internal storage. Moto G 5G counts with longer battery duration than Xperia 1 II, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
