Comparison review
The Xperia 1 III has a global score of 93.3, which is much better than Motorola Moto G 5G's 81.5 general score. The Xperia 1 III is a thinner and somewhat lighter phone than Motorola Moto G 5G, even though they were released with only a few months difference. These phones use Android OS (operating system), but Xperia 1 III has newer 11 version while Motorola Moto G 5G has Android 10, so it provides some extra features and a performance increase.
The Sony Xperia 1 III has a brighter display than Moto G 5G, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better 1644 x 3840 resolution and way more pixels per display inch. Xperia 1 III has a very superior storage for games and applications than Motorola Moto G 5G, because it has 192 GB more internal storage and a SD extension slot that supports up to 1 TB.
The Xperia 1 III features a little bit better hardware performance than Motorola Moto G 5G, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xperia 1 III also has a larger amount of RAM. The Moto G 5G captures just a bit better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia 1 III, because although it has slower video frame rates, and they both have a same size aperture and the same (4K) video definition, the Moto G 5G also counts with a lot more mega pixels back facing camera.
Motorola Moto G 5G features a bit better battery performance than Sony Xperia 1 III, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity against 4500mAh.
