Motorola Moto G 5G has a general score of 81.5, which is just a bit better than the Xperia Z5 Premium's general score of 79.8. The Motorola Moto G 5G construction is way newer than the Xperia Z5 Premium's, although it is heavier and extremely thicker. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Motorola Moto G 5G has a newer 10 version and Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1, providing the user a lot of extra features and performance optimizations.

Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a much more vibrant display than Moto G 5G, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better 3840 x 2160 resolution and a much better count of pixels per inch of screen. The Xperia Z5 Premium has just a bit better hardware performance than Moto G 5G, because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an extra GPU.

Moto G 5G takes just a bit better videos and photos than Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Moto G 5G also has a bigger aperture to capture better low light images and a back facing camera with a way higher resolution.

The Moto G 5G has a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has an external SD slot that allows up to 1000 GB and 32 GB more internal storage. Moto G 5G features a very superior battery life than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
