Xperia XZ2 Premium is much better than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, having a score of 82.2 against 72.1. The Xperia XZ2 Premium body is noticeably newer, but somewhat thicker and extremely heavier than Motorola Moto G4 Plus. Xperia XZ2 Premium has a much more vibrant screen than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, because it has a quite bigger display, much more pixels per screen inch and a much higher 2160 x 3840 resolution.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a greater performance than Moto G4 Plus, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Xperia XZ2 Premium takes much better videos and photos than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, because it has a bigger aperture, a better resolution back-facing camera and a way higher (4K) video resolution.

Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Motorola Moto G4 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola Moto G4 Plus. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Motorola Moto G4 Plus, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your money.
