Galaxy M40 has a global score of 85, which is better than Moto G50's overall score of 75.3. Both devices we are comparing use Android operating system, but the Galaxy M40 has older 10 version and Moto G50 has Android 11 version. The Galaxy M40 design is somewhat thinner and lighter than Moto G50, despite of the fact that it was released around 23 months before.

The Galaxy M40 features just a bit better performance than Motorola Moto G50, and although they both have 8 cores, the Galaxy M40 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Galaxy M40 has a much better display than Moto G50, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much better resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a much greater quantity of pixels per inch in the display.

Samsung Galaxy M40 shoots much better pictures and videos than Motorola Moto G50, although it has a camera in the back with much less MP, they both have a same size camera aperture. The Galaxy M40 counts with slightly more storage capacity to install games and applications than Motorola Moto G50, because although it has an external memory slot that allows up to 512 GB against 1 TB, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.

Moto G50 features a much better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has a 43 percent more battery size.
