Xperia 1 II is much better than Moto G50, having a general score of 91 against 75.3. Both of these phones use the same Android 11 OS, so they should give you very similar operating system features. Although the Xperia 1 II is older than the Moto G50, it's body is somewhat thinner and a little lighter.

Xperia 1 II has a much sharper display than Motorola Moto G50, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Xperia 1 II also has a way higher 1644 x 3840 resolution and a way greater display pixels density. Sony Xperia 1 II has a little bit better hardware performance than Motorola Moto G50, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia 1 II also has a greater amount of RAM memory.

The Xperia 1 II takes much better photos and videos than Motorola Moto G50, although it has a back camera with lot less mega-pixels, they both have a same size camera aperture.
