Comparison review
Huawei Mate 20 has an overall score of 79.5, which is just a bit better than the Motorola Moto G7's score of 75.2. Despite being the best device in this comparison, Huawei Mate 20 is a just a bit heavier and just a little bit thicker device than Motorola Moto G7. Both phones in our current comparison work with the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (operating system).
Huawei Mate 20 has a bit sharper screen than Moto G7, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2244 pixels and a just a little lower pixel density, it also counts with a little bigger screen. The Huawei Mate 20 features a bit superior CPU than Moto G7. They have 8 cores and the same RAM memory amount.
The Motorola Moto G7 counts with a greater storage capacity for apps and games than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Huawei Mate 20 features better battery life than Moto G7, because it has a 33% larger battery size.
Huawei Mate 20 has a little bit better camera than Moto G7. Both have the same (4K) video resolution, a 12 mega-pixels back-facing camera, the same video frame rate and a F1.8 diafragm aperture.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Moto G7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Moto G7. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate 20, else you can save some money and get the Moto G7, giving up a couple features and specifications.
