Comparison review

The Galaxy Note8 is better than Motorola Moto G7, getting a general score of 83 against 75.2. Galaxy Note8's design is older, a little bit thicker and heavier than the Motorola Moto G7. Both of these phones have the same Android 9.0 Pie OS, so both of them should count with identical operating system features.

Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit more vivid display than Moto G7, because it has a better screen pixels density, a little bigger display and a better 1440 x 2960 resolution. Motorola Moto G7 has a slightly bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Motorola Moto G7 also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB.

Galaxy Note8 has just a little better processing power than Moto G7, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note8 also has 2 GB more RAM memory. The Galaxy Note8 has a bit better battery duration than Motorola Moto G7, because it has a 10% bigger battery size. Galaxy Note8 takes a little bit better videos and photos than Motorola Moto G7, and although they both have the same video frame rate, a same resolution back facing camera and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Galaxy Note8 also has a larger camera aperture to capture better photos in low-light situations.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Moto G7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Moto G7. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note8, else you can save some dollars and get the Moto G7, letting go some features and specs.
