Comparison review
Google Pixel 4 XL has a score of 82.9, which is much better than the Moto G8's 74.4 general score. Google Pixel 4 XL's body is just a little bit heavier but a little bit thinner than Moto G8, and they were released only a couple months apart. The Google Pixel 4 XL features a little bit better performance than Moto G8, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Google Pixel 4 XL also has a higher amount of RAM.
The Google Pixel 4 XL has a much sharper display than Motorola Moto G8, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1440 x 3040px and a way higher display density. The Moto G8 counts with a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Pixel 4 XL, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Moto G8 also has an external memory slot that admits up to 512 GB.
The Moto G8 and the Google Pixel 4 XL both feature really similar cameras, and although the Google Pixel 4 XL has a back camera with lot less megapixels and a worse (4K) video quality, they both have a same size diafragm aperture. Motorola Moto G8 counts with just a bit longer battery duration than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
Although Google Pixel 4 XL is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Motorola Moto G8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Motorola Moto G8. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Google Pixel 4 XL, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Motorola Moto G8, letting go some specifications.
