The Honor 50 Pro is a bit better than the Moto G8, having a 77 score against 74.4. Both phones in this comparison come with Android OS, but Honor 50 Pro has a newer 11 version while Moto G8 has Android 10 version. Honor 50 Pro is a newer cellphone, and it is also thinner and a little lighter than the Moto G8.

The Honor 50 Pro features a better display than Motorola Moto G8, because it has a much higher pixels count per display inch, a much better resolution of 1236 x 2676 and a little larger screen. The Honor 50 Pro has a bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Moto G8, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory.

Honor 50 Pro features a bit superior processor than Moto G8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Honor 50 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Honor 50 Pro shoots way better photographs and videos than Motorola Moto G8, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for capturing pictures or videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Honor 50 Pro also counts with a back facing camera with way more megapixels.

The Honor 50 Pro's battery duration is very similar to the Moto G8 one.
