Comparison review
Huawei Mate 8 has an overall score of 77.4, which is a bit better than the Moto G8's 74.4 general score. The Huawei Mate 8 is an notably older phone than Moto G8, but it is a bit lighter and thinner anyway. The Huawei Mate 8 has a bit sharper display than Motorola Moto G8, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a greater pixel amount per inch in the screen.
Huawei Mate 8 has a bit better performance than Motorola Moto G8. Both have a 4 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core processor. Huawei Mate 8 features a bit bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Motorola Moto G8, because although it has a SD memory slot that allows 384 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.
The Huawei Mate 8 has a battery lifetime that's very similar to the battery duration in Motorola Moto G8. Moto G8 takes a little bit better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have a 16 megapixels resolution back-facing camera, the Moto G8 also has a way better 3840x2160 video resolution and a bigger camera aperture for better low light captures and videos.
Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Motorola Moto G8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Motorola Moto G8. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Huawei Mate 8, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Motorola Moto G8, letting go a couple features and specs.
