Comparison review
The Motorola edge has a general score of 89.6, which is way better than the Moto G8's 74.4 global score. Both of these phones use the same Android 10 OS. Even though Motorola edge and the Moto G8 were only released 2 months apart, Motorola edge's construction is a bit thicker but just a bit lighter than the Moto G8.
Motorola edge has a better screen than Moto G8, because it has a way better 1080 x 2340 resolution, a quite bigger display and a greater display density. Motorola edge counts with a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Moto G8, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB.
Motorola edge has a little better hardware performance than Motorola Moto G8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Motorola edge also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Motorola edge features a much better camera than Motorola Moto G8, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for low light photos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Motorola edge also counts with a camera with much more mega-pixels.
The Motorola edge counts with a bit superior battery life than Moto G8, because it has a 13% larger battery size.
The Motorola edge is way more expensive than the Moto G8, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
